Because Shamanic Healing draws upon a number of ancient and time-tested techniques, here is a list of those that we call upon and have been trained in:
- Toltec Dreaming and Stalking
- Power Restoration and Power Animal Retrieval
- Soul Retrieval, Restoration, and Integration
- Soul Remembering and Regeneration
- Energy Extraction
- Death, Dying, and Psychopomp
- Compassionate Clearing (depossession)
- Curse and Thoughtform Unraveling
- Ancestral Healing
Since your soul process begins when you first make contact and book an appointment, you will be provided with instructions to work with your dreams until our appointment time. Your dreams are not only information for you, but can often be information provided by Spirit for your practitioner.
Initial sessions are 90-minutes and once we have had the first session, we will discuss whether it would be optimal for you to attend 60-minute or 90-minute sessions, or a combination of both.
Many people ask about the amount of sessions they might need. Naturally this will depend on the individual and their reason for attending. Sometimes there is one traumatic event that needs to be transformed and transmuted and this can be addressed within 3-6 sessions. Other times, there has been more disruptive or chronic problems and transformation may take time and weekly sessions.
Shamanic Healing utilizes the fundamental tool of journeying where we travel to other realms to communicate with Compassionate Helping Spirits. These journeys are profound medicine stories that move the soul, lessen the burden of pain, or provide deep insight to circumstances. Journeys are recorded in MP3 format and emailed to you within a week after your session. You are encouraged to listen to the journeys. Many clients report ongoing and deepening insights each time they listen.
During our sessions together, you will likely receive instruction and practise with shamanic journeying as well. Your journeys will also be recorded and emailed to you.
SESSIONS FOR THE DECEASED
Besides providing healing for the living, we also provide healing for the deceased, or those who are transitioning into or out of this realm. Psychopomp work is a way of helping those who are deceased or transitioning to find a peaceful and comfortable place. Psychopomp ceremony also provides family and close friends with a sense of ease and calm.
DISTANCE SESSIONS VIA PHONE OR SKYPE
Shamanic healing does not rely on time or space to be a powerful healing modality. 60-minute distance sessions are available by phone or Skype. The process of preparatory dream work is the same.
COMMUNITY/FAMILY HEALING CIRCLES
Shamanic healing was traditionally done with family, friends, and community present. It was clearly understood that should one person's soul be weakened, then the whole soul of the family and community was weakened. Therefore many would attend in order to strengthen and increase the power of the healing so that all could benefit. If you have a chronic or life-threatening illness, or are going through/have been through a particularly challenging period, a community healing ceremony may be the perfect empowering medicine for you. Additionally, if you have had a close friend or family member suddenly pass away and you, your family or community are not feeling complete, a community healing circle might be of help.
Community Healing Circles are a sacred way to facilitate the restoration of harmony and balance. The ceremonial circle may include: shamanic journeys, songs, drumming, dance, stories and ritual. Minimum of 6 people.
Note: You can also arrange a distance Community Healing Ceremony should your friend or relative be hospitalized or bed-ridden. I will guide those friends and family who are able to be present in the circle so that the group can send distance healing to the individual.
Note: Shamanic healing does not replace traditional medical or psychological modalities, but is an excellent compliment.
